Siemens industrial automation: part numbers and quotation guide
Source Siemens industrial automation components by their complete article number. Z7 lists PLC and control parts, operator panels, drives, switching equipment and power supplies, with a quotation process that confirms the delivered price.
Browse Siemens components by function
Our catalogue includes Siemens logic modules, PLC input/output modules, HMI panels, drive components, motor starters, relays, circuit protection and power supplies. Look for the manufacturer name on each product card: the general categories also contain components from other manufacturers.
For maintenance purchasing, the exact article number is a better starting point than a general description such as “PLC module” or “motor drive”. Open the matching product page to check the stated voltage, interfaces, dimensions and linked datasheet where available.
Find the complete Siemens article number
Copy the full manufacturer article number from the label or your approved bill of materials, including hyphens and the final suffix. Do not use a serial number as the ordering reference. Many components share a family name while differing in voltage, interfaces, input/output configuration or other requirements.
- Capture the article number. Include the product name and all readable label details. Email a clear nameplate photo if you are unsure which number to use.
- Record version details. For a PLC, HMI or drive, include the hardware or firmware version where shown and the existing system or project requirements.
- Check electrical and interface requirements. Include supply voltage, required inputs/outputs, communication interfaces and any associated modules or connectors.
- State whether this is an exact replacement. If you want a substitute, identify the original article number and describe the application for technical review.
Manufacturer firmware information is tied to the relevant article number. A newer version or a similar-looking module should therefore be checked against the actual system requirements rather than assumed to be interchangeable. This guide does not prescribe a firmware update.

Request a Siemens quotation
Send each complete article number and quantity, the delivery country, city and postal code, and your required delivery date. If your maintenance team has specified a hardware or firmware version, include it in the request. Tell us if accessories, connectors or documentation must be included in the offer.
Add listed items to the basket and choose the final quotation request, or contact us by email. Catalogue prices are in EUR excluding VAT. Our offer confirms available quantities, shipping, applicable taxes and delivery time before order acceptance.
Supplier stock reflects the last recorded check and still needs confirmation. “Available to order” means we must confirm the lead time for that position. Sending a request does not place an order or require payment.
Request a Siemens quotationCommon questions
Do you have a datasheet for every Siemens item?
Where a manufacturer datasheet is linked, it is available from the product page. If no document is shown, ask us for assistance using the exact article number. We do not treat a missing PDF as evidence of compatibility.
Can a different suffix be used as a replacement?
A changed suffix can identify a different version. Send both complete references and the system requirements so the proposed substitution can be reviewed before ordering.
Can Ask Z7 confirm compatibility?
Ask Z7 helps search our catalogue and collect quotation requests. Technical compatibility questions that cannot be answered from the listed information need review by our team and, where necessary, the manufacturer or your system integrator.
Can private customers request a quote?
Yes. Include the part number, quantity and delivery details. See payment information and shipping information for the ordering process.
Manufacturer references
For product-specific documents, follow the manufacturer links in the individual catalogue card and verify the article number. Installation and commissioning should follow the relevant Siemens documentation and your system requirements.
